M. Brandon Freeman, MD
Dr. Brandon Freeman came to Kern Medical Center in 2009 from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, in Dallas, Texas. He is currently the Chief of Plastic Surgery and Facial Trauma. His background includes studies and/or surgical training in: molecular biology, micro-vascular/reconstructive plastic surgery, and craniofacial plastic surgery. In 2009 Dr. Freeman was nominated by the County of Kern for Customer Service Excellence.
Dr. Freeman is actively involved in Doctors Without Borders which is an international medical humanitarian organization that provides independent, impartial medical assistance to those most in need. He recently completed a two week trip to Guatemala, Central America to utilize his much needed surgical skills. In the past Dr. Freeman has served in many other parts of the world with hundreds of dedicated doctors, nurses and medical workers.
