Mission
Our educational mission to do develop highly skilled, dedicated and compassionate new family practice physicians who are well equipped to meet the needs of the underserved; and to develop leadership skills that enable them to be health advocates for their community and to be mentors for future family physicians.

Goal
The goal of the Family Medicine Program at Kern Medical Center is to train medical graduates to become quality family physicians skilled in and dedicated to the practice of primary care, oriented to the basic unit of society - the family.
