Kern Medical Center is committed to providing a program of ongoing physician education which meets the identified needs of the medical staff at the individual, departmental, hospital and community levels, and provides high quality educational opportunities to broaden each physician's clinical knowledge and skill.

The Department of Medical Education is dedicated to serving as an educational resource center in evaluating the effectiveness of Continuing Medical Education activities in meeting identified education needs.

Second Annual Kern County Conference on Aging

Our population is aging rapidly. In Kern County we face a serious shortage of healthcare workers that are trained and fully prepared to care for our elderly patients. To help us prepare for this shortage, Kern Medical Center (KMC) is hosting the Second Annual Kern County Conference on Aging: An Interdisciplinary Approach to Geriatric Care.
